The Phoenix Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter provides several scholarships annually to deserving students throughout Maricopa County. The chapter funds the program through local membership dues and fundraisers. The Scholarship Program recipients are invited to attend the Phoenix Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter End of the Year Celebration where they are awarded their scholarships and meet the chapter's community partners.

Students of color with a 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale live in Arizona for their permanent residence. They must also be either a:

No need to be enrolled in college to apply, but they will be required to provide proof of enrollment to receive their scholarship.
College applicants: Must be enrolled in college to apply and will be required to provide proof of enrollment for the upcoming school year before they receive their scholarship
Award notifications are shared for all applicants by June 15th, 2023.
Payments are sent directly to the institution after proof of attendance is received.

You must apply every year to be considered for future awards.
Proof of enrollment is an official document issued by your academic institution’s Registrar. We will provide you with a proof of enrollment form for your institution to complete if you are awarded the scholarship.
As a part of the selection process, we will conduct Zoom interviews. A little nervous about doing an interview? There’s no need to worry!
