On behalf of the phenomenal, motivated, amazing and charismatic members of the Chapter, I greet you in the spirit of service.
We are excited about continuing the work that began in Arizona nearly 85 years ago, focusing on Sisterhood, Scholarship and Service here in Maricopa County. Our members are leaders in the community, leaders in their fields and overall fervent and committed women who are dedicated to using their skills, experience, influence, and passion to leave an lasting imprint in our community and on its future leaders, the next generation. For that cause, we strive for excellence in our community service projects and initiatives. We are committed to loving one another, being empowered through engagement, activating our gifts, and doing the work that needs to be done. We LEAD by Example.
As a 24-year member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a 17-year member of this Chapter, I have seen the evolution of our organization at the National, Regional, and our Chapter level, and am committed to lead this Chapter forward as we continue its rich legacy. I am inspired by all we have done already and am elated about the direction we are going in.

Sisterhood is the foundation of our sorority and the primary focus of our chapter. Our model is L.E.A.D: Love one another, Empower through engagement, Activate our gifts, and Do what needs to be done.

Our youth are our priority! Our local membership dues and fundraising efforts are used to sponsor scholarships for our future leaders. We provide scholarships for youths entering community colleges and 4 year universities.

Our service efforts are grounded in our 5-point programmatic thrusts: Educational Development, Economic Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health , and Political Awareness and Involvement.
