Sassy, Classy, Jazzy Sunday

A virtual Fundraiser for a Great Cause

Join us on May 23 at 3pm for an afternoon filled with laughs, good music, great giveaways, and an online auction you won't want to miss! With performances by violinist Jonathan Levingston, artist Ebone Johnson, vocalist Chanel Bragg, saxophonist Colin Williams, and comedian Isaac "Doc" Farm, this virtual event is not to be missed. Our one of a kind “Looking Good and Feeling Good” and “Expand Your Mind” breakout rooms will provide experiences to edify your mind, body, and soul. Don't miss out! Grab your ticket today!

While COVID-19 has changed the way we all operate, the needs in the communities we serve are even greater. Proceeds from this virtual fundraiser will support scholarships for high school and college students and our community service initiatives, which are focused on our five-point programmatic thrust (economic development, educational development, international awareness and involvement, physical and mental health, and political awareness and involvement). All a great cause!

OUR FEATURED ENTERTAINERS AND GUESTS

Jonathan Levingston is a concert violinist with an uncanny ability to entrance his audience with a single draw of his bow. He began classical violin training at the age of seven, and the dedication to his craft developed his extraordinary abilities, allowing him to excel as a captivating composer and performer. Jonathan has received many awards for his work, including those from concerto competitions, and accolades for his performances with the Milwaukee and Racine Symphony Orchestras of Wisconsin. He has also been a featured performer for Phoenix Fashion Week and the Scottsdale Ferrari Expo.

Mistress of Ceremonies Ebone "Muse" Johnson has had her hand in a little bit of everything-- but “all the things” made sense! She has a great passion for youth, the liberation of Black women, racial justice, HBCU advocacy, educating and volunteering with teen girls of color, and all things Arts related. Ebone is the owner of Modern Day Muse (a thrift store), Your Art Party (a paint and sip business) and MuseTease Prints (an art expo). Her artwork is designed to showcase the beauty of the African American culture.

Vocalist Chanel Bragg, is an artist and passionate advocate for equity, diversity and inclusion, and the first African American woman to be named Associate Artistic Director for the Arizona Theatre Company. The Arizona Theatre Company is celebrating 54 years and each season of high-quality productions reflects the rich variety of world theatre – from classic to contemporary plays, from musicals to new works. Bragg also is co-founder of the Soul of Broadway, producer of the Alexander Project Tribute Band with Live Nation, founder of United Colours of AZ Theatre, and a supporting vocalist in the Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra.

Collin Williams is an accomplished saxophonist hailing from North Carolina. In his 18 years of performance, Collin has a fresh new take on smooth jazz. His debut project entitled ‘Sax Talk’ is an exciting blend of hip-hop, Soul, R&B, Funk, Jazz, and Gospel. It features the lead voice of a saxophone, supported by gospel-like saxophone background voices, over punchy 808 drum loops, and live instrumentation.

Comedian Isaac “Doc” Farm is a highly talented comic and entertainer crowned the "Funniest Man in Phoenix." He has appeared at the Apollo Theatre and is a regular at local comedy clubs and unequaled as a corporate comic. He has done special engagements with Patti LaBelle, Chris Tucker and D.L. Hughley.
